Hey Everyone! I just wanted to tell you all a little bit about myself, and how Ginger Creek came to be.  I'm a 32 year old mom to 4 littles ( 3 boys and 1 little girl). I work full time as a financial analyst and I have about 975 hobbies. I initially took up sewing when I was 12, making bags, patched pants, blankets, or whatever my little heart desired. 

Fast forward almost 20 years later, I discovered repping and small handmade shops after my daughter was born. I fell in LOVE, but my boys were always jealous that their sister got handmade clothing and they didn't very often. So I decided to pull my machine out, buy some fabric and make them some things. It wasn't long before my friends and family wanted items too, thus, Ginger Creek was born.

Some have asked me, where did you come up with the name of your shop? While it may be a little corny, I love our story. I am a red head naturally (more like strawberry blonde with orange cowlicks), my husband has a red beard, and all 4 of our babies were born red headed. All different shades of red, from strawberry to straight up carrot top! The creek portion of the name is a play on my dads nickname for my daughter when she was born. Her name is River, but he called her Crick. Since she was the reason I fell in love with handmade clothing, I thought it was fitting.
